Who We Are
The Electric Vehicle Alliance of Kauai (EVAK) is an all-volunteer support and advocacy organization that promotes EV’s and the expansion of the infrastructure to support EV’s on the island of Kauai. We are a non-profit that exists to help educate the public by hosting events where people can get into contact with EV owners to help them navigate this change in automobile choices. Originally named “KEVA,” EVAKauai was started in late 2016 when a couple EV owners got together with the Kauai County Energy and Sustainability Coordinator (who was responsible for getting a fleet of EV’s for the county) to discuss ways to speed up the adoption of EV’s by the public on Kauai.
